Day 1: Arrival

Arrive to Baku. Meeting with transferman at the GYD International airport and transfer to the hotel .  Evening walking in Baku Sea Boulevard

30 minutes trip on public boat in Baku Bay

Dinner in local restaurant

Back to the hotel

Overnight in hotel.


Day 2: Baku - Absheron Peninsula

Start exploring Azerbaijan with a city tour of Baku, which is one of the oldest and biggest cities in the East for antiquity, territory and population. We’ll visit the Walled City of Baku with the Shirvanshah Palace and Maiden Tower, UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Inner City (Icheri Sheher) has preserved much of its 12th century defensive walls. The 12th century Maiden Tower, built over earlier structures dating from the 7th to 6th centuries BC, and the 15th century Shirvanshah' Palace, one of the pearls of Azerbaijan's architecture. Juma Mosque and the Carpet Museum.

Leaving for a tour in Absheron Peninsula.

Ateshgah (20 km., 22 minutes)    Ateshgah, the Fire Worshippers' Temple is located in the village of Surakhany. It was built on the land where natural gas burned eternally and worshipped by Zoroastrian believers who travelled from the province of Multan in India to visit this sacred place. These ancient fires are believed to have given Azerbaijan its name, which is thought by some researchers to mean the “Land of Fires”.

Excursion to Yanar Dag - Burning Hill. You can see here nature phenomenon, incessant burning nature gas on the rock which named to the  Yanar Dag reserve the burning rock. As the historians say, maybe this place gave the name *the fire country* to Azerbaijan.

Day 3: Shemakha - Gabala

Depart for the Caucasus Mountains in the northwest of Azerbaijan. The dry landscape around Baku gives way to a densely forested mountain area.

Visit Diri Baba Tomb near Maraza settlement on the way to Shamakhy. Two-floor Diri-Baba mausoleum is located in the outskirts of Maraza settlement in one of the rocky gorges, which is a wonderful creation of the art of ancient menders of the XV century.

Visit the town of Shamakhy with biggest mosque of Caucasus – “Juma Mosque”. Shamakhy  has a rich heritage and has provided the backdrop to major political events throughout much of its two millennia of existence. In its history eleven major earthquakes have rocked Shamakhy, but through multiple reconstructions it maintained its role as the economic and administrative capital of Shirvan and one of the key towns on the  Silk Road.


Drive to Gabala. Visit Nohur Lake . Gabala City sight Tour

Dinner in a local restaurant.

Drive to Sheki

 Start exploring Sheki. Sheki is one of majestic in the past cities of the East and one of the most ancient cities of Transcaucasia. There are many historical and architectural monuments here. You will visit magnificent Palace of Sheki Khans,silk shop, shop on manufacturing the tastiest “Sheki pakhlava”  and  the  hotel “Caravanserai” where dealers leading caravans on a great silk way since ancient times liked to stop.  Dinner

Day 5: Sheki - Kish - Baku

Breakfast in the hotel

Then visiting of Albanian Church in Kish Village. It is located approximately 5 km north of Sheki. Visit the Sheki bazaar.

Lunch in local restaurant

Drive back to Baku
